There’s lots to do at Coastal Cabins!
The Hartland area is simply stunning. With jaw dropping view from the coastal paths, sparkling beaches and spectacular countryside there’s always something to take your breath away. But we understand that after a long journey sometimes you just want to flop and stay right where you are for a bit. Here’s some details of our facilities right on site at Coastal Cabins:
Fishing Lake
At Coastal Cabins Glamping we have a fully stocked fishing lake on site. All of our guests are welcome to use it during their stay completely free of charge. Equipment is not provided so please do bring your own. For any keen anglers who might need equipment during their stay then we can recommend the superb Summerland Tackle store in Westward Ho! https://www.summerlands-tackle.co.uk This is approximately a 20min drive from the Cabins site. The lake mainly has Tench, Rudd and some Carp. There are no restrictions at all so you can fish as much as you like during your stay!
Families will also be pleased to know that the lake is very safe. There is a fence surrounding the perimeter so little ones can play freely without any worry.
Tennis Court
On site is a full size hard tennis court that guests can use free of charge throughout their stay. It is a communal facility and does not need to be booked – simply help yourself. Equipment is not provided so please do make sure you pack your racquets and balls! If you forget them then there are sports stores in the outlet village near Bideford which is a 20min drive from the Cabins site. https://affinityoutlets.com/devon/
BBQ Cabin
Our BBQ is a brilliant space to get together in all weathers. This large timber cabin is incredibly versatile. It’s a great barbecue cabin for larger gathering and parties but also perfect for families wanting to cook up a feast whatever the weather. It’s very large and can seat around 20-25 people. We are proud to say that it is handmade in the UK and made from the best sustainable arctic pine. It’s an experience not to be missed!
The BBQ Cabin is a communal facility and is completely free to use for anyone staying on site. We supply logs so you just need to bring the food! Why not pick up some amazingly fresh seafood from the local fishing village of Clovelly just down the road.
‘Wild Spa’ Hot Tub Area
New for 2019 is our ‘Wild Spa’ Hot Tub area. What’s better after a long day at the beach than a soak in the brand new hot tub area. Rest those tired feet and let the 26 spa jets massage away your aches and pains. Sit in the ‘Captain’s Seat’ and succumb to the exclusive 15 point ultrablast master massage jet. Add to the mix some stunning views towards the Atlantic and a glass of cold bubbly and you’ll be in holiday heaven.
This is a paid for experience and can be hired for exclusive use. The costs are as follows:
£40 for 1 hour – maximum 2 people
£60 for 1 hour – maximum 6 people
